Whaia e koe ki te iti kahurangi; ki te tuohu koe, me maunga teitei
Seek the treasure you value most dearly: if you bow your head, let it be to a lofty mountain

-Maori whakatauki (proverb)

Haere mai/Welcome to my online gallery.

Based in Canterbury, New Zealand, I divide my time between assignments as a professional commercial photographer, writing and running workshops, both in New Zealand and abroad, as well as developing my path as a fine artist.

The first of my ancestors sailed her some 800 years ago from the South Pacific, and the remainder began arriving from Europe some 200 years ago.

Please take the time to browse the gallery and if there is an image you would like to own, that option is available. The gallery contains images that hold particular significance for me. New Zealand has an extraordinarily beautiful and deeply spiritual landscape and that reflection forms the basis for my landscape explorations and the opus I am gradually building.

The documentary section contains images from a range of explorations, both professional and personal, from New Zealand and abroad, which document my fascination with the human condition. Please visit.

For those of you interested in the thinking behind my images, please visit my blog , read around the world.
