Blatant self-promotion corner

Kia ora tatou:muldooncaricature.jpg

The Christchurch Press are running a Heritage week competition at the moment, in a number of categories, both amateur and professional. Boris, one of the posters for this ezine, has an image entered. I know Boris ( real name withheld), would love you to vote for her entry (oops). You can do so here.

Dear reader ( I always wanted to say that too; it’s so Dickensian) has also entered the same competition, in the professional category. A vote for this and this would be appreciated…

NB, not all of us are of sufficient maturity ( read: olde enough) to know who the avatar is. It is the late Sir Robert Muldoon, once an NZ prime minister and a master at blatant self-promotion.

You know Tony I sussed out these entries of yours. When I first saw them I recognized a certain style but thought no more. I was puzzled about who had made an image of some local ladies so dragged the image into PS to check the IPTC (well it was in the pro section and surely any pro photographer is going to tag their image with a copyright) Anyway, no luck can’t make his bucks from photos.

I couldn’t resist checking out these other images also and wouldn’t you know and why didn’t that occur to me before - ©Tony Bridge. Nice!

    Regards

LOL….but the guy riding the mono on the front of your blog, well that gave me a good laugh. Off to vote! then will come back to peruse some more.

You don’t look olde enough to remeber Rob….
As for the guy on the mono, you might want to read the story behind it. Have a look at
